I just finished up a round of intense hormonal acne and I’d like to thank @mellownaturals for helping me come out of that victorious. These elixirs along with some of my trusty masks helped speed up the fading of some very angry PIH.
Vit C Natural Glow Face Serum*
This is my main boo. I wish it was bigger. I wish it was never ending. I wish I never met it so I can save myself the heartbreak when I’m at the last drop.
This serum is milky, slippery and slightly citrusy. I’ve been using this the longest, clocking in at 4 weeks, and the results are definitely showing. I have a brighter complexion thanks to the vit c and my long lost love, niacinamide (I haven’t used niacinamide in forever, since my last bottle from TO turned out to be a dud). There’s some jojoba oil in this too which you’ll notice plump up your skin.
Hydration Drops*
I was beyond surprised by this one. This facial oil is on the drier side, very thin, fast absorbing and dare I say, very similar in texture to YTTP’s glow oil. I just put some on my hand and I swear it absorbed instantly.
It’s made with argan oil, rosehip oil, and strawberry seed oil which all work together to help fight signs of aging, control oil production, brighten skin, fade scars and boost collagen production.
Clarifying Face Serum with Sophoro Root*
I massaged this in while praying to the acne gods to give me a break. And it worked! This serum is made with salicylic acid which penetrates deep into your pores to help unclog the nasty stuff. Sophoro Root is a Chinese herb with antibacterial and antimicrobial properties which helps fight acne.
Botanical Concentrated Face Serum*
This skin brightening oil based serum gives a little kapow to your skincare routine as it’s got some ginger which helps with inflammation. It also have three different kinds of turmeric, which are full of antioxidants, help with oil control and brighten skin tone while fading scars.
