What an essence actually does? Are you using one?
I think #facialessence deserves its place alongside the other essentials: cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer, and SPF. So what is it exactly? Not a toner and not quite a serum, it's a hybrid of the two that provides the first dose of hydration and ingredients that calm stressed skin and help defend against the harmful effects of pollution. Think of your skin like a sponge, and the essence will wet the sponge allowing all your other skincare to work harder.
Today, I want to introduce you to @mellownaturals Prime and Protect essence—an anti-pollution essence for your skin. The key ingredients in this essence are Red Algae/Astaxanthin, which is a potent antioxidant to neutralize free radicals, and Earth Marine Water, which is extremely rich in minerals to detoxify and strengthen the skin barrier.
